Spotsylvania Arts Festival Returns For Third Year
The Spotsylvania Arts Festival is back at the Spotsylvania Courthouse on Saturday, Aug. 14 and Sunday, Aug. 15.

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA — The Spotsylvania Art Festival is returning for the third annual event this weekend. The festival will host hundreds of original pieces of art in addition to giveaways, competitions, and more activities.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 15. Admission and parking are both free all weekend long.
The festival is held at the historic Spotsylvania Courthouse, located at 9101 Courthouse Road. The historic grounds of the courthouse are transformed to an outdoor art gallery. Visitors can see pieces from numerous mediums, including glasswork, metalwork, jewelry, and paintings.

Artists from across the country are participating in the event this year, the festival's organizers said. In addition to the juried art competitions, the festival will also give away two $100 gift cards. The gift cards can be used to purchase art from any of the vendors.
To register for the giveaway, visitors can register at hospitality tent before 1 p.m. on Saturday.
