Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office Discovers Human Remains

Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office discovered human remains on Nov. 3 on the Rappahannock Electric high voltage power line right of way, according to Captain Mike Harvey in a press release.

Deputies and detectives responded to a report at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of the 9000 block of Brock Rd.

The identity, gender and race of the person are unknown at this time, and the Sheriff’s Office is working closely with the Virginia Medical Examiners Office to identify this person.
