Brian Leon Adkins Jr., 18, of the 500 block of Stafford Glen Court in Stafford, is wanted for abduction, assault, hit and run and destruction of property. He's described as 5-7, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police are trying to find the other suspect's identity.
Around 5 p.m., the 17-year-old went to the Garfield police station and told authorities she was in her vehicle on Dumfries Road when she became involved in an argument with Adkins. He hit her vehicle several times, so she tried to drive from the scene.

That's when Adkins got into his own vehicle and positioned it in front of hers before suddenly braking, causing a crash. He then pulled her out of her vehicle, hit her multiple times and held on the ground so another person could do likewise. She eventually escaped, Adkins drove away in an unknown direction and she drove to the police station, where she received aid for minor injuries.
Following an investigation, police obtained warrants for Adkins' arrest. Attempts to find him have been unsuccessful, and anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
