Storm Brings High Winds, Fells Tree Limbs
A residential street in Fredericksburg was blocked for a short while as first responders removed a fallen tree branch.
A brief but powerful storm brought 50 mph winds, driving rain and thunder to Fredericksburg earlier this evening. At least one road was blocked when a large limb of an oak tree fell during the storm in the 200 block of Charles Street.
It all happened in front of Debra Myers, who was outside watching the storm as it passed through around 5 p.m.
"If there was lightning out, I'd have gone outside," said Debra Myers, who lives with her husband on Charles Street.
