Thanksgiving Holiday Closings, Schedules

Fredericksburg city offices will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27 - 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

Wednesday recycling will take place on schedule. There will be no trash or recycling pick up on Thursday, Nov. 28. Trash and recycling collections for both Thursday and Friday will take place on Friday, Nov. 29.

The Belman Rd. Recycling Center and the Stafford Landfill will be closed Thursday. Both locations will be open normal hours Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Spotsylvania County government offices will be close at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29.

County parks, the Livingston Landfill and all convenience centers will be closed Nov. 28.

VRE will operate on a "S" Schedule Friday, Nov. 29. Only trains with a "S" above the train number on the schedule will operate.

Normal schedules will resume on Monday, Dec. 2.

All branches of Central Rappahannock Regional Library will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 27 and remain closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. You still have online access to the catalog, eBooks and research tools.
