The Pool Company Robbed by Man Threatening to Shoot Staff

ROBBERY:
The Pool Company, 2035 Plank Rd, 5/24 1:30 p.m. An employee reported that a young male entered the store and demanded money. The suspect made threats to shoot the employees although he did not overtly display a weapon.
The employees turned over a quantity of cash and the suspect ran from the store. A customer chased the suspect for a short time on foot but lost sight of him near Lone Star Steakhouse.
The suspect was described as a white male in his late teens or early 20s wearing jeans and a green and white striped shirt. The investigation is
ongoing.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:
2700 block Caroline St, 5/24 3:00 p.m. A Spotsylvania teenager reported that he was fishing near the Falmouth Bridge when a younger teen approached him and shot him in the back with a BB gun.
The victim ran from the scene when it appeared the suspect intended to shoot him again. The victim further reported that he did not know the suspect and did not have any altercation with him prior to the incident.

The suspect was described as a 13-15 year old white male, heavyset, wearing yellow pants and a black hoodie. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
700 block Lee Ave, 5/25 – 5/26 7:30 a.m. A city resident reported that her husband’s BMW motorcycle was stolen from the driveway during the overnight hours. On Monday, the bike was found abandoned between the railroad tracks and the VRE parking lot. The investigation is ongoing.
1243 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 5/24 12:00 a.m. – 8:25 a.m. A foreman reported that a number of copper pipes were stolen from the construction site. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Regal Cinema, 3301 Plank Rd, 5/24 3:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person broke the passenger side window on her vehicle and stole her purse. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
700 block Sophia St, 5/25 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that an unknown person stole the front license plate from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1600 block Airport Ave, 5/25 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that her daughter’s cell phone was stolen while the daughter was a guest at a friend’s house. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Aladin, 2052 Plank Rd, 5/26 12:10 a.m. A customer reported that her cell phone was stolen from her table. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Thurman Brisben Shelter, 471 Central Rd, 5/26 7:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. A resident reported that her debit card was stolen from her wallet and later used to make a purchase at a local store. The investigation is ongoing.
Taco Bell, 543 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 5/26 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole money from his wallet at work. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
600 block Amelia St, 5/15 – 5/25 4:00 p.m. A city resident reported that an unknown person damaged the windshield and driver’s side window on his vehicle, apparently by shooting at it with a BB gun. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1900 block Washington Ave, 5/25 – 5/26 5:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person damaged her lamp post, apparently by shooting at it with a BB gun. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Walmart, 1800 Carl D silver Pkwy, 5/27 5:15 p.m. A Stafford resident reported that an unknown person scratched and damaged his vehicle with a sharp object. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
