Thieves Score Loose Change in Unremarkable Heist

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2011

LARCENY:

600 block Cobblestone Blvd, Sept. 27 5:00 a.m. – 6:45 a.m. A resident reported that some loose change and two cell phone chargers were stolen from her unsecured vehicle. The investigating officer located two other vehicles in the parking lot that also had evidence of tampering. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Leroy Griffin, 53, of Stafford was arrested in the 2300 block of Plank Rd.

Charles Valiani, 33, of Fredericksburg was arrested in the 300 block of Lafayette Blvd.

ARRESTS:

Christopher Peterson, 48, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Fairfax charging him with possession of heroin.

James Bryant, 54, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
