Thousands Without Power in North Stafford
BREAKING: Tree down knocks out power during Thursday morning storm, according to Dominion Power. Flood warning through Thursday commute.

STAFFORD, VA — Thousands are without power in North Stafford, according to Dominion Power.
Downed trees have knocked out electricity for more than 4,300 customers. Repairs are expected to be completed between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
An additional 339 customers were without power in the Embrey Mill Road area. That incident was under investigation Thursday morning and there was no timeline for restoration.

A flood warming has been issued across the region until 10:45 a.m. Local law enforcement in Fairfax County have reported flooding in the area, according to the National Weather Service.

The power company stresses among its safety tips: "If you feel a downed line presents clear and imminent danger to you, your property or to others, call 911 first!"
