The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95 around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, investigators said. The tractor-trailer was travelling northbound when the driver suffered a medical emergency.

The emergency caused the vehicle to drive off the right side of the road and collide with a guardrail, according to the police report. The tractor-trailer was hauling hundreds of bags of concrete. The crash left the concrete bags scattered across the road, shutting down traffic for over an hour.
