Train Crashed Into Vehicle In Stafford County: Authorities
One person suffered serious injuries after a train crashed into a vehicle on Sunday night, the Stafford County fire department said.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A passenger train crashed into a vehicle in Stafford County on Sunday evening, the Stafford County Department of Fire and Rescue said.
One person from the vehicle suffered serious injuries, according to authorities. No passengers on the train were injured.
The crash occurred around 9 p.m. on Sunday at Brent Point Road and Arkendale Road in the Widewater area.

Authorities have not said what factors could have contributed to the crash. First responders flew one person from the vehicle to an area hospital for treatment.
