Truck Fire Ignites Brush, Woodlands Along I-95 South

Quantico and Stafford County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to a vehicle fire Saturday in the area of I-95 South near mile marker 147 at the Telegraph Road Bridge in Quantico, Mark Doyle, Stafford County Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief, reported.

"Quantico Engine 533 was the first to arrive, finding a tractor trailer with its cargo consisting of large bales of cardboard on fire," he said. The fire also sparked a brush fire involving the median and woodlands adjacent to I-95.

No injuries were reported.
