VA Man Cited For Assault During Vehicle Repossession At Fredericksburg Motel: Sheriff
Stafford County sheriff's deputies investigated the report of an assault related to a vehicle repossession at a Fredericksburg motel.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 31-year-old Charlottesville man is facing an assault and battery charge after he tried to prevent his vehicle from being reposssessed on Monday, according to reports.
Stafford County sheriff's deputies responded to the Red Roof Inn at 386 Warrenton Road in Fredericksburg for the report of assault over a vehicle repossession.
The deputies determined that the owner of vehicle, later identified as Michael Devin Anderson of Charlottesville, was the primary aggressor in the dispute, according to the incident report.

Anderson was arrested and charged with assault and battery and later released by a magistrate on a $2,500 unsecured bond, according to the sheriff's office.
