Virginia Railway Express is seeking a Facilities Manager to provide day-to-day facilities management of a commuter rail service with eighteen stations, two rolling stock equipment maintenance and storage facilities and the administrative offices.
Job responsibilities include management of the overall maintenance program and budgets, including occasional assignments to implement capital projects associated with facilities rehabilitation.
Associates Degree in Project or Construction Management or related technical field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of 5 – 8 years experience in facilities management, engineering, or a relevant building trade expected. Must possess experience in cost estimating, project budgeting and schedule control for small-scale projects.
