STAFFORD, VA—Police are looking for an unknown man who bilked Walmart out of more than $800 in merchandise by using counterfeit bills Monday night at 217 Garrisonville Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. He's described as between 5-2 and 5-5 with a thin build and short black hair. He was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants, and left in a black Chevy Cruze.

Shortly before 8 p.m., police were summoned to the store for a reported counterfeiting. The man "purchased" electronics and a vacuum cleaner with bogus hundred-dollar bills. A loss prevention employee noticed the man and checked out the bills but the suspect already had left. Police searched the area to no avail. Anyone with information is urged to call the SCSO at 540-684-4400.
