Walmart Counterfeiter Sought In Stafford: Police

STAFFORD, VA—Police are looking for an unknown man who bilked Walmart out of more than $800 in merchandise by using counterfeit bills Monday night at 217 Garrisonville Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. He's described as between 5-2 and 5-5 with a thin build and short black hair. He was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants, and left in a black Chevy Cruze.

Shortly before 8 p.m., police were summoned to the store for a reported counterfeiting. The man "purchased" electronics and a vacuum cleaner with bogus hundred-dollar bills. A loss prevention employee noticed the man and checked out the bills but the suspect already had left. Police searched the area to no avail.
