STAFFORD, VA—Four days after being suspected of stealing from the Walmart at 217 Garrisonville Road, a man was arrested Wednesday, March 20, after being caught doing it again, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Derrick Stanford, 49, of Stafford, was charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and driving suspended.

Shortly before 4:15 p.m., police responded to a larceny-in-progress at the store. A loss prevention specialist said a man from a previous larceny had returned to the business and appeared to be stealing merchandise. Police approached Stanford at his vehicle and saw the suspected stolen goods in the back.

Stanford admitted stealing the merchandise, and also confessed to stealing things from the store March 16. Moreover, he admitted driving to the store despite knowing his driver's license had been suspended.
