Weather Decision Made For Wednesday: Fredericksburg Area Schools
Fredericksburg area school systems have shifted their schedules for Wednesday due to concerns about road conditions after Monday's snow.
FREDERICKBURG, VA — Schools will be closed in Fredericksburg, Stafford, and Spotsylvania on Wednesday, Jan. 16. Each school system cited concerns about refreezing causing hazardous road conditions.
There will be no virtual instruction on Wednesday for Fredericksburg students.
Snowfall totals on Monday and Tuesday ranged from 2 inches in Washington, D.C., to 5 inches in the Reston part of Fairfax County.

Most of the Fredericksburg area reported between 2 and 3 inches of snow.
