Woman Found Dead, Person Of Interest Sought In Fredericksburg

Authorities are looking for a possibly armed "person of interest" related to a woman's suspicious death in Fredericksburg, say police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Authorities are looking for a possibly armed "person of interest" related to the suspicious death Thursday, March 28, of Karen Woodall, 44, of, Fredericksburg, according to Fredericksburg Police. She was found in a residence at the Crestview apartment complex in the 100 block of Golden Leaf Court. Sought for questioning is Barry Nelson Sullivan, 45, of Fredericksburg.

Around 10 a.m., police received a call for assistance at the aforementioned area and found a deceased woman. No one else was in the apartment, and Woodall's next of kin has been notified.

Sullivan is believed to be driving a black 2003 Honda Civic with Virginia tags UVN-7771. The vehicle is missing two hubcaps on the passenger side. Police say he may be dangerous and not to approach him. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-654-5701.
