Wrecked Driver Discovered With Stab Wounds
Spotsylvania County Sheriffs are trying to figure out how the driver of a crashed car ended up with stab wounds to the body on Sunday morning.

Spotsylvania County Sheriff's deputies are trying to piece together the events which preceded a car crash early on Sunday morning. Of particular interest to law enforcement officers is how the driver ended up with stab wounds to his torso.
At around 2:18 a.m. on Sept. 11, patrolling Deputy Ed Griffith stumbled upon a vehicle which had struck a tree head on in the 5700 block of Harrison Road. The driver, 20-year-old Julian Miranda-Pacado, had apparently been stabbed in the upper abdomen before the crash. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for significant blood loss.
Detectives are trying to figure out where the stabbing might have happened, and who might have been involved. Anyone with information is asked to call the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office at 540-582-7115 to provide confidential tips.
