GW Parkway Repairs Continue In Fort Hunt After Weather Delay
The National Park Service rescheduled weekend repairs on southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway in the Fort Hunt area.

FORT HUNT, VA — Repairs on the George Washington Memorial Parkway were rescheduled from the weekend due to inclement weather, according to the National Park Service.
NPS had scheduled emergency concrete pavement repairs on the southern section of the George Washington Memorial Parkway near Waynewood Boulevard in Fort Hunt. Repairs on the northbound lanes were completed during the weekend of March 17 to 19. However, repairs on the southbound lanes scheduled during the weekend of March 24 to 26 were postponed amid an inclement weather forecast.
Instead, those southbound lane repairs will happen during the weekend of March 31 to April 2. The National Park Service also plans to grout and seal repair patches on the parkway from April 3 to 5.
