Police say a 47-year-old woman was in an auto parts store last Monday afternoon at 6960 Braddock Road in Annandale. While in the store, a man approached and offered her a ride to a different auto parts store so that she could obtain the correct part for her vehicle, police said. The woman agreed and the man drove her to 7448 Little River Turnpike, also in Annandale, where she made her purchase. The man advised he needed to pick up some co-workers and drove to the Brookside Motel, located at 6001 Richmond Highway in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County, according to police.

While talking to her, the man offered her employment with a cleaning service and explained that she needed to complete a “medical exam” to secure the job, police said. She agreed and the suspect escorted her to a room at the motel. While in the room, the suspect entered and allegedly sexually assaulted her, according to police. He then dropped the victim off nearby at her current work location, police said. After speaking to a friend, the victim contacted police to file a report.
