New Inova Mount Vernon Clinic Serves Uninsured, Underinsured
The new Inova Cares Clinic for Families location serves uninsured or underinsured patients with primary care services.

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — A new clinic focused on serving uninsured and underinsured patients in the greater Mount Vernon area is open.
Inova Health System officials celebrated the Inova Cares Clinic for Families grand opening Wednesday at 8101 Hinson Farm Road, Alexandria, VA. Inova also opened its Inova Juniper Program, which serves people with HIV, at the location. The Inova Cares Clinic for Families helps patients who qualify for Medicaid, Family Access to Medical Insurance Security for children and Inova's financial assistance program or are uninsured. There are several other Inova Cares Clinic for Families locations around Northern Virginia.
"Our Mount Vernon Community Health Needs Assessment clearly identified healthcare access as a top Mount Vernon community health issue," said Karen Berube, chief and senior vice president of Community Health and Health Equity at Inova. "We understand families face challenges meeting social and healthcare needs. With this grand opening, we are partnering with our neighbors to create a medical home in the community to address healthcare needs and foster long-term wellbeing."
