Richmond Highway Bank Robbery Suspect Photos Released by Police

Police are hoping someone recognizes suspect they say robbed a Richmond Highway bank Tuesday afternoon.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police Wednesday morning released a photo of a bank robbery suspect, after a Richmond Highway bank was robbed Tuesday.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division are investigating the bank robbery that occurred at 7901 Richmond Highway on Tuesday, at around 2:19 p.m., police said. A man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and there were no injuries. Police said the suspect was described as black, 35 to 40 years old, 180 to 190 pounds, wearing a blue hat, a light colored polo-style shirt and dark blue pants.
