Road Work To Prompt Lane Closures On GW Parkway In Fort Hunt
The National Park Service says drivers should prepare for delays during road work on the George Washington Memorial Parkway.

FORT HUNT, VA — Lane closures will impact the George Washington Memorial Parkway in the Fort Hunt area over the next two weeks, according to the National Park Service.
NPS will be doing emergency concrete pavement repairs on the southern section of the George Washington Memorial Parkway near Waynewood Boulevard. During the repairs, the parkway will be reduced to two lanes — one in each direction at all times.
Drivers should expect delays during the road work. Work will happen between 9:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. on March 14, 15 and 16, 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 17 to early Monday, March 20, and 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 24 to early Monday, March 27.
