Suspect in Red Hat Robs Richmond Highway Bank: Police
Police are investigating the robbery of United Bank in the area Tuesday afternoon.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police are investigating a bank robbery Tuesday in the Richmond Highway area.
Officers responded to the bank robbery Tuesday at about 2:19 p.m., at the United Bank, located at 7901 Richmond Highway.
A man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to police. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and there were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 35 to 40 years old, wearing a red hat, a blue shirt and dark blue pants, police said.
