Parent and Child Fishing by Boat: Enjoy fishing with your child from a jon boat or canoe. Start with an introduction to boating basics and follow the naturalist to favorite fishing spots from 5 to 7 p.m. atRiverbend Park. Previous experience not required. Boats and PFDs are provided. Fishing rod rentals are available. Download waiver, complete and bring it to the tour. Canceled in case of inclement weather or hazardous river conditions. Dairy Days - Ice Cream Making and Butter: Churn butter, crank ice cream and play historic games for a taste of 18th century life from 1 to 2 p.m., 2 to 3 p.m. or 3 to 4 p.m. at Sully Historic Site. Saturday, Aug. 15: Go Back in Time
Civil War Encampment Weekend: Federal and Confederate troops recreate daily Civil War life as re-enactors demonstrate the varied work of the army. Skirmishes each day include infantry, artillery and cavalry. Enjoy live music and a fashion show.
