11 Big Numbers That Explain Herndon

HERNDON, VA — Herndon has changed over the last five years, but just how much? Are there more people? More kids? More seniors? Are we doing better financially? How's the commute?

The census performs monthly surveys of Herndon residents and collects the findings over the past five years. The survey results include more than 40 topics, including demographic, housing, social and employment information.

Published earlier this month, the American Community Survey data collected survey results from 2011-2015. We've collected 11 of the big numbers below (along with data from the 2006-2010 report released 5 years ago).
