2 Sex Offense Charges Filed in 2 Unrelated Cases In Herndon: Police

HERNDON, VA — Two men were arrested recently for two unrelated sex offenses that occurred in the Town of Herndon, according to the weekly crime report.

Sterling resident Jordan Deaundre Owen, 21, surrendered himself to the Town of Herndon Police, who arrested and charged him with forcible sodomy against a female juvenile family member. The incident occurred Oct. 18 in the 1000 block of Kings Court.

Owen was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was held without bond.

On Dec. 16, officers arrested 29-year-old Luis Fernando Manzano Ramos of Herndon in connection with the rape of a female victim who'd rejected his sexual advances, according to police. Manzano Ramos and the victim met earlier in the day as coworkers at a worksite in the 700 block of Morningside Court.

Manzano Ramos was taken to the adult detention center, where he was charged, served an outstanding warrant, and held without bond.
