35th Anniversary Celebration for the Herndon Community Center

The award-winning fitness and recreation facility Herndon Community Center is celebrating its 35th anniversary!

An open house and day full of activities will be available at the HCC, 814 Ferndale Avenue, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 8.

Admission to the community center will be free during the celebration and all ages are welcome.

Events for the anniversary celebration on Saturday include:

• Free Admission to the HCC: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Community Art Project: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• DJ and Inflatable Games: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• PediaVision Spot Screening for infants and children: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Diabetes Education & Prevention: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Balloon Twister: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• ZUMBA: 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
• BODYPUMP: 1 to 2 p.m.
• Swim Time featuring a new inflatable Viking ship: 1 to 3 p.m.
