Armed Robbery Reported In Herndon: Police

An armed man entered a Herndon business and left with cash, police say.

HERNDON, VA -- Police are searching for a suspect after an armed man robbed a Herndon business over the weekend.

The man entered a business in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive on Feb. 10 shortly after midnight, displayed a weapon, and "indicated to the victim that he wanted cash," according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

Police described the suspect as "possibly" a black male who was wearing all black, a mask, and gloves. He was able to escape with an undisclosed amount of cash.
