Betty Woodside Doyle, 87 of Herndon, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 28. She was the loving mother of Nancy L. Susco of Herndon, and The Rev. Richard Clough of New London, North Carolina.
She was the step mother of James A. Doyle of Falls Church. Betty had seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James T. Doyle, her grandson Tim Susco and her step daughter Debbie Savard.

She worked for the Federal Government overseas and in the US all her adult life.
Betty was a member of Herndon United Methodist Church and an active resident of Arbor Terrace Residence for seniors.

A Memorial Service celebrating Betty’s life will be held Saturday September 3rd at 11:00 AM at Herndon United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will follow. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery beside her late husband will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Susco 8k race in memory of Betty’s grandson Tim. The money raised goes to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation and the Washington Regional Transplant Community. Contributions may be sent to 12701 Hitchcock CT Reston, VA 20191, or on line at Susco8k.com
