Bike Rider Suspected In Elden Street Burglary Evades Herndon Police

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police are investigating an Oct. 25 commercial burglary that took place at a business in the 600 block of Elden Street, according to the weekly crime report.

Police determined that around 4 a.m. a man gained entry to the business by shattering the front door. After taking an undisclosed amount of property, the man left business. The whole process took less than a minute.

Officers attempted to apprehend a man that matched the suspect's description of the and was riding a bike nearby, but he fled the area.
