Burglar Smashes Through Door In Herndon Gas Station: Police
Someone shattered the front door and damaged an ATM at a Herndon gas station, police say.
HERNDON, VA -- Police are investigating after someone smashed through the front door of a gas station in Herndon and then damaged the ATM inside.
Police were called to the Sunoco station located at 11516 Leesburg Pike at around 3:47 a.m. on May 24 and found that someone had "shattered" the front door and damaged the ATM before leaving, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"It is unknown if anything was taken," police said.
