HERNDON, VA -- A Herndon resident who forgot to lock up had his laptop stolen by an intruder, police say.

The burglar entered a home in the 13900 block of Mansarde Avenue on March 28 and stole a laptop computer, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

Police believe the burglar gained entry through an unlocked door.
