Burglary, Destruction Of Property Charges Levied By Herndon Police
Town of Herndon police charged a juvenile that they said broke into the home of someone who knew them.

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police arrested a juvenile in connection with a residential burglary at the home of someone who knew them on Nov. 14.
The suspect broke into the home, which was located in the 2100 block of Wilkes Court, according to police. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with burglary, destruction of property, and obstruction of justice.
Police then took the suspect to the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center.

In other police calls, between Nov. 13 and Nov. 19, there were a total of 78 traffic violations reported in Herndon, including one DWI/driving while intoxicates, five for driving without an operators license, two for driving on a suspended or revoked license, and 7 for operating a vehicle while holding a phone.
During the same time period, there were 15 reportable traffic offenses.
