'Bye Bye Birdie' Last Performance for Herndon High Drama Graduates, Wine for a Good Cause and More
Today in Herndon: Plan your weekend with these fun events going on around Fairfax County.
'Bye Bye Birdie' Opens Friday Night in Herndon
From Karen Harrison, Herndon High Drama Booster: "After four weeks of hard work and a lot of fun with all of the talented kids in our cast, the show opens tomorrow. This is also the last time we will see Chris Hrozencik and Megan Overton on the Herndon High School stage as these new grads are headed off to study theatre in college. We also say good bye to two of our hardworking techs, Cameron Kelly and Lukas Funke. We've had a great summer with a lot of support from our cast moms, including Erin Sikes and Sara Metcalf, whose work gathering costumes shows up so well in our rehearsal photos above." Tickets are $10 at the door or in advance online (click the link above). Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m., at Herndon High School.
