Car Overturns In Herndon Area Crash: Fire Department
A person was extricated from a car that flipped on its side in the McNair area, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
HERNDON, VA — A car flipped on its side during a crash in the Herndon area Saturday, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. One person was injured.
The two-vehicle crash happened at Sunrise Valley Drive and Mansarde Avenue in the McNair neighborhood, which is just east of Dulles International Airport. One of the cars overturned on its side, and one person had to be extricated. The person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
It was unclear what caused the crash.
