HERNDON, VA — The Gardner School, an academically focused preschool for children 6-weeks to 5-years-old, notified all of its employees last week that they must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Those who don't must submit to weekly tests, according to a release.

Headquartered in Tennessee, Gardner operates preschools in seven states, including Virginia. Gardner's preschool in Herndon is located at 2655 West Ox Road.

“The Gardner School has been very thorough in our response to this pandemic, keeping our students in mind every step of the way," said Tammy Robinson, chief operating officer of The Gardner School, in a release. "We firmly believe that, along with many other elements of our COVID-19 response, vaccination requirements are the logical next step in providing a safe environment for our students and staff."
