Fire Breaks Out At Herndon Apartment Building
A fire broke out inside of an apartment in Herndon over the weekend.

HERNDON, VA -- Firefighters were called to put out a fire that broke out at a Herndon apartment complex over the weekend.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue tweeted at 3:29 p.m. on Sunday that units were on the scene of an apartment fire in the 2300 block of Rolling Fork Circle.
The first arriving unit reported heavy smoke on the third floor, and crews were able to locate and extinguish the fire without any extension to other apartments.

Crews then went to work on ventilating heavy smoke and conducting salvage operations. There is no report of any injuries.
