Get Your Nominations In for Herndon Yard of the Month
The nomination deadline for the July yard of the Month Award is June 16.
Do you or your neighbors have a pristine summer lawn deserving of the entire town's recognition? Submit your nomination for Yard of the Month!
Yard of the Month is a chance for Herndon homeowners to showcase their beautification efforts and enrich the quality of life in their neighborhoods.
Herndon residents can nominate their own or their neighbor's yards to receive gift certificates to Meadows Farms and be recognized by Mayor Lisa Merkel and Town Council.
The deadline for July Yard of the Month is June 16. Nominations for October Yard of the Month are due no later than September 15 (there will not be awards in August or September).
Nomination forms are available on the "Cultivating Community" page of the Town of Herndon website. Forms are also available at the Neighborhood Resource Center and the Herndon Municipal Center. Call 703-435-6800 ext. 2084 or emailinformation@herndon-va.gov for more information.
