HernDOG Bark Bash Sunday, Oct. 4 Cancelled.
Dog owners and their pets are invited to enjoy an afternoon of fun at the HernDOG Bash.
“The second annual HernDOG Bark Bash has been canceled for this weekend. Originally planned for Sunday, October 4 at Bready Park from noon-3 p.m., the soaking rains and forecast for the wet weather to continue has forced cancellation of the event for the sake of the dogs and their owners,” reported the event coordinators.
“The wet, chilly and muddy conditions of the site aren’t conducive for the planned agility activities and demonstrations. Pet owners and their four-legged friends are encouraged to save the date for the 2016 event – Sunday, October 2.”
The HernDOG Bark Bash is the place to be for dog-owners this weekend.

The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Bready Park, 14 Ferndale Avenue.
It will feature agility demonstrations, owner and dog team contests, adoptions, an off-leash area and wide variety of dog themed vendors.

Appalachian Air Canines will demonstrate frisbee dog sports at 12:30 and 2:00pm.
HernDOG Bark Bash is free but fees may apply to vendor products or services.
