Herndon Crime Report: Man Arrested for Reckless Handling for a Firearm; Victim Robbed at Gunpoint in Herndon

On September 12th, Kenneth Jerome Pryor, age 49, was arrested for firing one round on the ground beside him in the 1200 block of Springtide Place.

According to the police report, before firing his pistol, he exited his home armed, and ordered the juveniles playing in the common area off his property.

He was arrested for reckless handling of a firearm. He is currently on a $5,000 bail from Fairfax Detention center.

The Herndon police are investigating an armed robbery on September 13th in the 800 block of Sundale Court.

According to the victim’s report, two males robbed him of cash and personal property.

The victim described both suspects as thin black males wearing black clothing.

The suspect with a pistol was wearing a black mask while the other suspect was holding a piece of wood during the incident.
