Herndon Festival Brings Music, Carnival Rides, Food To Enjoy
Herndon Festival returns Thursday, bringing four days of musical entertainment, carnival rides and food for people to enjoy.

HERNDON, VA — Pool Boys, Herndon's own rock band that plays an eclectic mix of rock, pop, and hip-hop covers songs from the last three decades, will be kicking off four days of musical performance at the Herndon Festival.
The Herndon Festival runs Thursday, June 1 through Sunday, June 4, at 200 Spring St.
The annual event not only offers musical entertainment over four days, festival-goers can enjoy carnival rides and purchase food and arts and crafts from local vendors.

Carnival hours are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday; 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Food vendors will be open from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday; 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. More vendor information is available online.

Uncle Jesse will be Thursday night's headliner, playing your favorite songs from the '90s and '00's. Here is the festival's full performance schedule:

Shuttle bus service is available from the Peraton building at 12975 Worldgate Drive, Herndon High School at 700 Bennett St., and Herndon Middle School, 901 Locust St.
Shuttle bus service begins 15 minutes before the start of the festival each day, with the final departure from the festival around 15 minutes after closing time. More information about how to get to the festival is available online.
Admission is free, but carnival ride tickets cost $1.50 each; $37 for a book of 30 and $55 for a book of 50. Ticket packets can be purchased at the Herndon Community Center until 8 p.m., on Friday. All-you-can ride wristbands are also available at the community center for $20 until 5 p.m. on Thursday; $25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday; and $30, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Sunday.
