Herndon Police to Conduct Drills at Bready Park & Community Center
Nearby residents may see unusual police activity in Bready Park during these times, but it is no cause for alarm, the department said.
The Herndon Police Department sent out a statement this week informing locals that it plans to conduct emergency drills at the Herndon Community Center and Bready Park over the next two Sundays - so if anyone sees police at the park, there's no reason to worry.
The Town of Herndon Police Department will be closing the Community Center during certain evening hours on two Sunday evenings to conduct the emergency operations exercises.
