HERNDON, VA — A home in a Herndon neighborhood was broken into and ransacked earlier this month, police say.

Police were called to the 13000 block of Shea Place, where someone "broke into the residence and ransacked the property," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

Police believe it happened someone between July 17-25.
