HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police are investigating the report of an indecent exposure that took place Sunday in the 700 block of Pine Street.

Two juvenile victims told police an unknown man approached them and began making offensive and sexually suggestive remarks. When the victims insisted the man stop following them, he exposed himself to them by pulling his genitals from his pants, according to police.

In other police calls, between July 31 and Aug. 6, there were a total of 98 traffic violations reported in Herndon, including seven for driving without an operators license, two for driving on a suspended or revoked license, and 15 for operating a vehicle while holding a phone.

There were 10 reportable traffic accidents in Herndon during the week. Accidents resulting in $1,500 property damage and/or injury are considered "reportable crashes," according to Virginia State Police reporting guidelines.
