Juvenile Driver Dies, 3 Hospitalized In Herndon Crash: Police

HERNDON, VA -- The juvenile driver of a vehicle has died in a Herndon crash and three people in the car were hospitalized with serious injuries, police say.

Police responded to the 300 block of Elden Street at around 2 a.m. on Sunday to a report of a single-vehicle accident, where they found the driver dead at the scene, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

"The other three occupants were transported to area hospitals where they remain in serious condition," the report states. "The cause of the crash is under investigation."
