Low-Cost, Nonstop Service From Dulles Airport To London Coming In June
Norse Atlantic Airways will begin nonstop service between Washington Dulles International Airpot and London Gatwick airport on June 1.

DULLES, VA — Norse Atlantic Airways will begin providing low-price, nonstop service between Washington Dulles International Airport to London's Gatwick International Airport on June 1, according to a Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority release.
Norse Atlantic will offer daily flights except Tuesdays between the two airports. Service will be provided for 338 passengers in Economy and Premium Economy cabins aboard Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
“Norse Atlantic’s low-price, high-quality offering is a great option for travelers who want to enjoy world-class attractions on a budget,” said Paul Bobson, MWAA's vice president of airline business development, in a release.“The addition of Norse at Dulles, combined with Metro Silver Line train service, will create an affordable nonstop link between the capital cities of the United States and the United Kingdom.”

Norse Atlantic Airways founder and CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen said the new service will provided greater choice for those traveling between the UK and the Washington, D.C. region.
"I am very pleased that we are fulfilling our pledge to allow more people to travel further and stimulate demand while creating competition in the trans-Atlantic market that will ultimately benefit consumers and lead to job creation on both sides of the Atlantic," he said, in a release. "We know that both leisure and business travelers have been eagerly awaiting our full summer schedule announcement, and we are looking forward to a busy summer ahead.”

The new IAD-LGW route with be the fifth U.S. gateway for the Norwegian carrier. Tickets for the new service are already available for purchase online.
