Man Assaults Sleeping Victim In Herndon: Police
Police arrested a Herndon man after they say he assaulted a sleeping person.
HERNDON, VA — A Herndon man assaulted a person who was sleeping over the weekend, police say.
Police arrested 33-year-old Irving Lazarus Duncan for aggravated assault of a victim he knew in the 100 block of Anthem Avenue on Oct. 6, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.
"The assault occurred while the victim was asleep," the report states. "The victim was transported to Reston Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries."

Duncan is being held without bond.
