Packed Room For Meeting On Intersection Improvements

7:15 p.m. - The Town of Herndon Council Chambers are full of residents, business owners and Councilmembers as an engineer presents three options to the audience for improvements that can be made to one of Herndon's busiest intersections - Herndon Parkway and Van Buren Street - in order to reduce congestion.

The options include adding both additional righthand and lefthand turn lanes, extending turn lanes to reduce backup, and constructing a roundabout.

As the meeting continues, members of the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer feedback on which of the three options they like the best.
