Police Make Arrests in Prostitution Ring

Herndon police have arrested one person in connection with a prostitution case that included parlors in Herndon and Vienna

Herndon Police said Thanh-Hang Pham has been arrested on one count of pandering, a Class 4 felony, and prostitution, a Class 1 misdemeanor in connection with a prostitution case at a Herndon massage parlor.

Police in Herndon and Vienna responded to complaints from the community about suspected prostitution in local massage parlors in both communities.

A joint operation was conducted by the Herndon and Vienna police departments on April 16, during which Herndon police executed a search warrant at the Sweetpie Spa, at 720 Grant St. Suite F in Herndon. Pham was held at the Fairfax County jail on a $5,000 bond.

Vienna Police have made two more arrests in 

Young Mitrano, 50, of Vienna, was arrested late last week and charged with keeping a bawdy house. Kim Nguyen, 51, of Falls Church, was arrested Tuesday and charged with prostitution.

With the arrests, Vienna Police have now arrested and charged half a dozen people from three salons in connection with the case.

The most recent arrests were made over the past week. Mitrano was arrested and charged after an April 12 search of Venus Body Wellness at 502 Maple Avenue W., Vienna Police said.

On Monday, Vienna detectives served another search warrant at Personal Spa Experience, 125-B Pleasant Street SW, after which they arrested Nguyen, an employee of the shop, and charged her with prostitution.

All those arrested were taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Earlier this month, four people were arrested  at a massage parlor in Vienna and two homes in Annandale.

The arrests followed a two-month investigation of Maple Therapeutic Massage, 307 Maple Avenue W., in Vienna as well as two Annandale homes, according to the Vienna Police Department.
